Planning Approval for Surrey New Build

October 21st 2016

Our Surrey team are hugely excited to be starting on site with a highly contemporary new build in Surrey this autumn.  The project was recently given the go ahead by the planning department at Elmbridge Borough Council.

Holland and Green were tasked with generating this Contemporary Family Home on a complex sloping site in Claygate.  Replacing a poorly extended 1970s detached property that hovered high above, and separated from, the garden the new design nestles into the site and from the road the house appears modern but unassuming.  Moving through the house and to the rear the design unveiled and is both striking and glamorous – a double height rear family room is now level with the garden and is complimented by the cantilivered Kitchen which hovers to the right – an inspired design at H&G that came from the clients wish to create an amazing space that made the most of the slope.  Currently at Tender we are looking forward to seeing the clients vision generated into a modern, energy efficient home – their very own Grand Design.
