HollandGreen is an award-winning Residential Design Practice incorporating Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Design, and Project Management divisions. Working out of our converted school house in the heart of historic Thame, we have built a reputation for designing and delivering innovative and sustainable award winning homes across the south of England. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Marketing to join our dynamic team, lead our brand development and contribute to our continued success and growth.
Job Summary
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for all HollandGreen’s marketing and publicity efforts. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive brand awareness and client leads as well as HollandGreen’s profile within the property sector and our business networks. Working closely with the senior leadership team, they will create a strong market presence, enhance our portfolio visibility and continue to build our positioning as a leader in the design industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy Development: Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s business goals and positioning within the architecture, interior design and landscape design sectors
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels (print, digital, social media) to elevate the company’s brand profile
- Content Creation and Management: Oversee the development of compelling content such as project portfolios, industry insights, brochures and videos, that showcase HollandGreen’s design expertise, values and projects, and be responsible for the company’s website
- Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media, to increase our online visibility, build HollandGreen’s brand and attract new clients and partners
- Public Relations & Media: Manage media relationships, coordinate press releases, and ensure the firm is represented in target publications, both digital and print. Build and deliver the plan to secure awards, partnerships, and speaking opportunities at relevant events
- Client Engagement & CRM: Devise client engagement strategies, utilising CRM tools to track leads, and work with the Partners and Practice Manager in order to nurture relationships, build HollandGreen’s profile and enhance client satisfaction
- Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with industry influencers, like-minded brands and complementary design businesses to create mutually beneficial opportunities
- Market Research & Analysis: Stay informed and abreast of the property and design industries and client trends to understand the competitive landscape, client needs, and emerging trends. Provide actionable insights for refining the Practice’s propositions
- Events: Plan and manage HollandGreen’s external-facing events that align with the company’s brand values
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the marketing team and associated freelancers. Collaborate and engage with HollandGreen’s Design Teams to ensure the successful delivery of marketing initiatives, and to share marketing insights across the Practice
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience within architecture, interior design, or landscape design industries would be beneficial
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth
- Strong understanding of branding, content marketing, and digital marketing strategies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for design aesthetics
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with marketing software (CRM, SEO tools, social media platforms)
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
