Job Scope

We’re hiring an experienced Senior Client-Side Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of high-value, design-led residential projects. You’ll set project strategy, own client relationships, and ensure programme, cost and quality targets are met without compromising design intent. You will mentor PMs, influence practice standards, and drive commercial outcomes.

This role is for a proven leader ready to take accountability for multiple complex projects, act as trusted advisor to UHNW/private clients, and represent HollandGreen in meetings with clients and consultants.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of multiple high-value residential projects from concept to handover
  • Be the primary client liaison and strategic advisor throughout the lifecycle
  • Define scopes, programmes, deliverables and fee proposals; negotiate appointments and variations
  • Direct and integrate internal design teams and external consultants; resolve design/commercial tensions
  • Control programme, budgets, risks and quality; lead risk workshops and recovery plans
  • Oversee tendering strategy, evaluate bids, lead contractor negotiations and appointments
  • Perform Contract Administration (JCT), including instructions, valuations, EoT/LOI/change control
  • Lead cost management with QS’s: budgets, cash flow, value engineering and final accounts
  • Establish reporting cadence and governance using CMAP/ClickUp
  • Champion best practice: refine processes, QA, templates; mentor and line-manage PMs/APMs

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years in client-side/consultancy PM, including leadership of complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Depth in high-end residential; listed/heritage expertise advantageous (quality commercial experience considered)
  • Full lifecycle delivery across all RIBA stages; calm authority in pre-construction and on site
  • Expert in planning, procurement, JCT contract administration, and stakeholder management
  • Track record of winning work, shaping fees, and improving project profitability
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and client-handling skills; confident with UHNW clientele
  • Proficient with PM tools (CMAP, ClickUp or similar) and robust reporting disciplines
  • Degree in Project/Construction Management, Architecture or related; Chartered (RICS/CIOB) preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence
