HollandGreen has a wealth of experience in working on high end residential extensions and refurbishments of listed properties across London and the South East. We have successfully negotiated consents for Listed properties across SW London, Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
Many private clients are unaware of the potential complexities of obtaining approval for carrying out works to their listed houses or those that exist in Conservation Areas. These will involve careful negotiations with not just the Local Authority Planning Department, but also their Conservation Officers and often, for Grade I and Grade II* properties, with the involvement of Historic England.
In the past HollandGreen have worked with Specialist Heritage Consultants, and Archaeologists to provide detailed assessments of historic buildings to allow us to gain approval for ambitious, but sympathetic alterations to properties of historic interest, including some which fall within the top 3% of protected properties in the UK.
HollandGreen has built up a strong reputation with Conservation Officers in many Local Authorities, notably South Oxfordshire District Council, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Westminster, The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, Aylesbury Vale, Elmbridge, Oxford City Council and Brighton & Hove.
This has enabled us to secure some notable approvals on a variety of projects, from modest matching period extensions and sensitive renovations, to large scale contemporary glazed extensions and basements.
