Under Construction – Painstaking Restoration and Extension of Grade II Listed Mill House

The Grade II Listed Mill House while rich in its history had suffered neglect in the years before our client purchased the property. This did not stop our client to see the  potential of the house to become a truly unique family home. Together we set out to preserve the charm of the  venerable building, while writing a bold new chapter in it’s history by introducing a contemporary extension that rationalises the flow through the house. We used Point Cloud Survey, to capture every detail of the existing delicate structure and assist us in collaborating with local conservation team.

We began by demolishing some of the more unsympathetic additions, including the 1920s conservatory.

Throughout the house we will be carrying out restoration works down to the fabric of the building. We are creating open plan living spaces that will be perfect for the entire family to come together.
