Under Construction – Three Storey Extension to a Henley Estate

Our client purchased this compact estate in the heart of the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) looking to create a truly unique home. The new home were to benefit from modern features like open plan living spaces, while the three storey extension would transform the house from top to bottom (including the existing basement).

We succesfully navigated the complex design guide of the Chiltern Hills AONB and conducted extensive research on the local architecture to support our proposed modern design. At last, on site, we begin to translate our clients vision into reality.

The ground floor has been completely stripped back to its ‘bones’ to prepare for full refurbishment and the extension on the Northern Side of the building.

At the basement level we will create an outdoor terrace that can be enjoyed after a dip in the existing pool which we are also updating to the modern standards.
