How do we design planting schemes?

Planting design is a bespoke service based on your brief. We’ll consider the context and orientation of the site, as well as soil type, light levels and the garden’s relationship to the house. It’s our policy to respect the wildlife within a site and minimise disruption to their lives and habitats wherever possible.

We work closely with exceptional, trade-only nurseries that supply exceptional quality plants, giving our clients exclusive access to the very best specimens available.

We will provide a detailed plan, accompanied by a schedule of quantities and sizes to make it easier to order the plants.  This is an exciting and collaborative stage that should lead us to assemble the perfect selection of plants, tailor made to thrive in your garden. Because of our passion for creating truly unique spaces, we also have lots of experience in sourcing specimens – including mature trees – that will provide a stunning focal point as well as enhancing the ecology of your local environment.
