Japanese Landscape Design from HollandGreen Landscapes

The Sunday Times Features Kingsbury House Project.

In The Sunday Times, our project Kingsbury House was one of the homes featured in an article about indoor trees – why they’re a growing trend, how they support well-being – from physical benefits to cognitive function – and how to choose one.

Kingsbury House, currently in design, will be an indoor-outdoor house, with the bedrooms separated by courtyards with internal trees to improve natural light and create a calming atmosphere. Biophilic design – emphasising the connection between people and nature – is one of the starting tenets to our designs. Explore how we approach design with biophilia in mind.

Mark shares his idea on the Kingsbury House design with The Sunday Tines: “the bedrooms have been separated by courtyards with internal trees to break up the elevation, improve natural lighting and create a tranquil atmosphere.”

Kingbury House is the realisation of a truly holistic design between building and garden; architecture and landscape design. A contemporary vision with a sustainability-led purpose that succeeds through the collaboration of ideas and values from the very start.
