Topiary balls provide a sense of rhythm and structure to the planting design, drawing the eye up through the garden toward the historic property. To either side, planting beds introduce rich textures and seasonal colours through a variety of evergreen shrubs, swathes of grasses and flowering alliums, salvia and lavender.

Forging a strong connection with the landscape was a key part of the project. Layers of green allow the front garden to flow seamlessly into the surrounding fields, while mature trees lining the drive frame the views from within the house. The resulting garden provides a welcoming and vibrant scene for the clients to enjoy as they arrive home and follow the paths through the garden and into the home.
